To some, the idea of a "women's club" conjures up images of perfectly coifed women daintily sipping cups of tea. But the Fairview Park Junior Women's Club is different. Our purpose is not only to promote a sense of responsibility among women toward a creative interest in civic, social and welfare betterment of the community, but also to promote social fellowship among its members. Many women join the Junior Women's Club to meet other women, then find fulfillment in helping others through our various welfare projects as a side benefit. Our membership includes women of all sorts, held together by a common desire to make Fairview Park and its surrounding communities a better place to live.
We offer scholarships and continuing education grants, support various local benefit programs and schools, and help those in need within our community. At the end of each club year, all funds that we have earned through our Ways and Means projects is distributed to charitable organizations throughout the Greater Cleveland area.
For ourselves, we offer a Ladies Bowling League, Fun Bridge, Walking Club, Book Discussion Group, Fun Bowling, Dinner Club/Progressive Dinners, Husband and Guest nights and impromptu gatherings throughout the year.
We encourage you to explore our website. If this sounds like a group that you might be interested in, talk to one of our members or select "Contact Us" on the left side of this web page.
